Recently, my family shared a memorable Italian Dinner Night with the family of Michelle Gainey of @lemiga events. We enjoyed a beautiful dinner that included an Italian inspired menu and decor for our families to enjoy. Following this post will be a series of videos released to give a more in depth view of the elements that brought this evening together. From the tablescape to the recipes for the menu items, you’re in store for great tips and ideas on how to have your own Italian Dinner Night.
I was super excited to have this dinner with Michelle. When she approached me with the idea, I knew that this would be a great way for our kids to experience a curated dinner at home. Plus, they would get to see two Mommies in action, doing what they do best!
Michelle suggested an Italian Dinner Night because she was so inspired by her recent travels to Italy. She wanted to bring back that feeling to her family and friends. I totally related to this idea because Harvey and I honeymooned in Italy and I was so blown away by the whole experience, I was dying for an excuse to bring it to life as well.
I got to work and created a recipe that would of course reflect the theme, but also a menu that Michelle or anyone else would be able to replicate at home.
Michelle got right to work to find the appropriate dinnerware and place settings to go along with the theme and dinner menu.
Second in the Italian Dinner Night series is, How to make an Instagram worthy Charcuterie and Cheese Board. Lookout for the next video in this series, on Tuesday, September 25th.
