What is You’ve Been Boo’zed?
The best way that I’ve seen someone describe it, is by saying it is like the Halloween version of Secret Santa. At my old job people would get boo’d, but it would involve candy or someone would decorate your office or cube with Halloween decor as a surprise before you got to work.
My very first time being “Booed” was when we moved to the burbs of Northern California. Our neighbors surprised us with fun treats that the whole family could enjoy. I was so excited that our neighbors surprised us, I immediately wanted to keep it going. Well, since we were near wine country, we found out that you can also BOOZE people with your favorite wine or adult beverage! You already know that version officially became my favorite!
How does You’ve Been Boozed Work?
It’s a pretty simple concept and takes no time to implement, but it is something that makes a lasting impression. Especially during this time of social distancing, it is a great way to let you neighbors know that you are here and still thinking about them.
- Place your “You’ve Been Boozed” sign on your door
- Secretly deliver to your neighbor: A copy of the bottle tag.
- Deliver a copy of the door tag.
- Deliver a bottle of your favorite boooozy adult beverage!
