My friends at ZWILLING are celebrating their 290th birthday this year. To help them celebrate, they asked that I share a recipe that represents the love that my family shares in the kitchen. Immediately, I knew that I wanted to make my Quick and Easy Shrimp and Grits. This recipe is inspired by my family’s recipe, which takes a bit longer. But just because my new recipe takes a quarter of the time to make, that does not mean that it lacks any of the flavor.
I’m sure by now, you guys know that I’m a true fan of ZWILLING products. I think it’s because of the memories that stem from seeing my Mom in the kitchen cooking in her Staub Dutch oven and cast iron skillet. It seems like it was so long ago when I was a kid asking my mom to taste whatever was simmering on the stove. Now it’s my kids asking me for a taste of whatever I’m cooking, especially if it’s my Shrimp and Grits which I choose to make in my ZWILLING Madura Plus deep fry pan set because they’re non-stick and perfect for a quick dinner. ZWILLING has been in my family for three generations now, that’s why their 290th birthday hits home for me. This brand has been helping my family for generations.

I typically make this recipe in my ZWILLING Madura Plus deep fry pan set because I genuinely appreciate an everyday non-stick pan. Grits are one of those foods that can do some intense sticking to any pot or pan that it’s cooked in, but with my Madura pans, they never stick! This allows perfectly cooked grits that has no clumps in it, which is perfect for my family because sometimes we get so carried away in the fun that we have in the kitchen, that we don’t want to have any accidental burning of our food. So when making this dish in ZWILLING Madura Plus deep fry pan set you can cook it with a peace of mind.
