What ingredients do you need for Creamy Tuna Casserole?

So, let’s dive into the recipe itself. To start, you’ll need:

  • Albacore Tuna
  • Red Onion
  • Frozen Peas
  • Cheddar Cheese Soup
  • Cream of Celery
  • Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Old Bay
  • Cajun Seasoning
  • Salt
  • Garlic Powder
  • Black Pepper
  • Milk
  • Elbow Noodles
  • Italian Breadcrumbs

How to make Creamy Tuna Casserole?

To assemble my creamy tuna casserole, simply mix together all ingredients, except for half of the parmesan cheese and the breadcrumbs, until it’s evenly combined. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the Italian breadcrumbs and remaining shredded cheese over the top. Bake until nice and bubbly, and dinner is done.

Creamy Tuna Casserole

Ingredients

  • 16 oz Box of Elbow noodles cooked
  • 2 5 oz cans of Albacore Tuna in water
  • 1/2 Red Onion diced
  • 10 oz Frozen Peas
  • 10.5 oz Cheddar Cheese Soup
  • 10.5 oz Cream of Celery
  • 2 c Mozzarella Cheese shredded
  • 1 c Parmesan Cheese shredded and divided
  • 1 tsp Old Bay
  • 1 tsp Cajun Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 c Milk
  • 1 lb Elbow Noodles
  • 2 c Italian Breadcrumbs

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except for half of the parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.
  • Pour into a large baking dish and make sure everything is spread out easily.
  • Top with breadcrumbs and remaining parmesan cheese.
  • Bake at 375 for 45 minutes.
  • Serve immediately.

Tips & Notes

Because this is a hearty recipe, my family never eats the whole thing. So, I like to divide in half before putting it in the oven, and freeze half of it for a later time.
